Renowned American actor and television personality, Jamie Foxx, has recently opened up about a health issue he faced a few months back, describing it as an ordeal that took him through an incredibly challenging time. The incident occurred while he was on the set of the movie "Back in Action" in Atlanta, leading to his urgent hospitalization in April. Despite the gravity of the situation, his family and friends chose to keep the details of his illness confidential, which sparked various speculations about his well-being.

Taking to his Instagram page last Saturday, Jamie Foxx posted a video addressing the health scare, marking the first time he spoke about it since being discharged. In the video, Foxx revealed that the illness was entirely unexpected for him and explained his decision not to disclose the specifics of his condition. He expressed that he didn't want his fans to see him in such a vulnerable state during those critical moments, preferring that they remember him with laughter, joy, and vitality while partying, making jokes, and pursuing his acting endeavors.

Acknowledging the support of his family during his recovery, Foxx praised his sister Deidra Dixon and his daughter Corinne Marie for playing instrumental roles in saving his life. He also expressed gratitude to God and the medical professionals who assisted in his healing. Foxx emphasized the importance of having a family that respected his wishes and protected his privacy throughout the challenging period.

Addressing some of the circulating rumors about his health, Foxx clarified that contrary to speculations, he did not experience blindness or paralysis. Nonetheless, he admitted that the recovery journey was incredibly trying, describing it as a journey through "hell and back."

Recently, in July, Jamie Foxx was spotted in public for the first time after his recovery. During a boat ride in Chicago, he heartily waved at his fans, clearly showing signs of improving health and well-being.
